Nishi Commercial
New Acton, Canberra
David Solomon was lead consultant for the entire New Acton Nishi project acting for the Principals, Molonglo Group. Nishi Commercial is a 10 level commercial office building of 23,000sqm with 282 basement car spaces and 214 bicycle spaces. It achieved a 6 Star Green Star Office AS Built Office v3 rating, the highest available, from the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA) and a 5 star NABERS Energy and Water efficiency ratings. Designed by Fender Katsalidis with global engineering firm Arup and landscape architects and urban designers Oculus, the project comprised Nishi Commercial, Nishi Residential, Hotel Hotel and Palace Electric Cinemas. The project has received numerous National and International awards and acclaim.
