Hotel Hotel & Palace Electric Cinema

Hotel Hotel and Palace Electric Cinema are located within New Acton Nishi connecting the Nishi Commercial and Nishi Residential buildings. The hotel occupies two floors above the main ground floor lobby and is connected to the cinema entrance by a striking timber staircase made entirely of recycled timbers including old basketball courts. The palace cinema complex comprises an 8 screen, 800 seat complex, including ticket office, bar and lounge. David Solomon was the lead consultant on the project, acting on behalf of Principals Molonglo Group. Designed by Fender Katsalidis, Suppose Architects from Japan, global engineering firm Arup and landscape architects and urban designers Oculus.
